Family Enrichment Project Opens Its Doors

December 8, 2014

On November 19, 2014, Epiphany staff celebrated the exciting opening of the new Family Enrichment Project with a Fall Open House for the public.

Tots played to their hearts content, and parents sipped hot chocolate and warm apple cider while learning more about the agency's newest program designed to strengthen at-risk families.

The interactive playgroups for 4-6 children and their parents were carefully developed by FEP Coordinator, Molly Enzminger who has a master's degree from Mills College in Infant Mental Health. Beautifully designed playrooms feature age-appropriate Learning Centers covering early literacy, science, math, music, dramatic play, and art.

At-risk children gain vital social, emotional, and self-regulation skills, while parents can learn more about the latest in child development during short 30-60 minute workshops regarding healthy eating, technology use, routines, how to say "no", and calming techniques.

For more information,  please contact Molly Enzminger at (415) 567-8370, ext. 4236 or menzminger@TheEpiphanyCenter.org.
