A Very Merry Staff Christmas Celebration!

(Santa) hats off to Diane, Frances, Nica, and Wally! On Friday, December 10th, the HR team organized a very Merry Christmas Celebration. Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying good company, a delicious meal, bingo, and a rousing white elephant gift exchange.

Sister Betty Marie announced the winners of the 2021 Epiphany Center Employee Awards. Colleagues nominated and feted (via Zoom) Intake Treatment Specialist, Joji Gale Johns as Employee of the Year. Joji’s upbeat attitude and consistent demonstration of the agency’s values of Respect, Compassion, and Creativity shine through in all she does.

Sister shared positive feedback provided by Joji’s colleagues:

“When we have been short-staffed and struggling, Joji always has a smile on her face and is ready to help whenever needed! She is the first face people see and meet when they enter our program, and the women automatically feel welcomed by her as soon as they get here. Thanks for all you do, Joji Gale!”

“Joji has gone the extra mile this year in helping me… she is always willing to try.”

“Joji always goes above and beyond to care for clients. She’s just not an intake worker. She also guides the women and supports them when needed. She has an open-door policy. No woman left behind.”

“Staff members like you are a rare find and we feel blessed to have you on board,” said Sister Betty Marie. “Again, thank you for all you do, and congratulations!”

Sister Betty Marie also presented a Five-Year Service Award to Lisa Raygosa, Transitional Step- Down Manager at Broderick. Lisa goes above and beyond to help the women clarify and continually move toward their goals. Throughout the challenges of the pandemic, Lisa completed back-to-back shifts to ensure the women and children are consistently provided with compassionate care. Thank you, Lisa for all you do!

And, thank you to all the dedicated Epiphany staff whose day-to-day commitment to our mission is an inspiration.
