Epiphany League Raises $170,000 At 28th Annual Benefit Party & Show

Adrienne (Party Chair) and John Murphy and extended family.

On Thursday, March 27th, the Epiphany League hosted the 28th Annual Benefit Party & Show - ‘The Epiphany Express’ - to help raise funds for Epiphany’s life saving services and the families in its care.

Since its inception, the Benefit Party & Show has raised over $3,000,000 to ensure Epiphany can meet the ever-changing needs of the more than 250 at-risk families we serve each year. Thanks to the generosity of this year's guests, sponsors, and donors, and contributors over $170,000 was raised for the Agency - a portion of which will go directly to this year's Fund-A-Need goal - $75,000 to support the completion of our new Epiphany Infant Toddler Center (learn more).

Jeffo O’Sammon, Sister Betty Marie Dunkel, D.C., Lucy McGuire, Dave Eshleman

Departing from the Family in downtown San Francisco, guests spent the evening aboard the legendary train and were transported to the golden age of travel with an outstanding musical revue by an all-star cast of volunteers. Guests enjoyed dinner, dancing, and an online silent auction (thank you to our donors and contributors!), while also gaining a deeper understanding of the organization’s mission. That included a brave, in-person testimonial by former Epiphany Client, Sierra, who shared her recovery journey and how she and her daughter benefitted from Epiphany’s programs.

Thank you to our Party Chair, Adrienne Murphy, for organizing a beautiful, inspiring, and successful event. A big round of applause to our incredible cast, musical director, creative director, producer, orchestra, and crew for their musical talents without whom the show would not go on. We are so appreciative of the outstanding scripting and musical talents of Jeffo O’Sammon, Matt Callahan, and Dave Eshleman and the phenomenal, all-star cast. Thank you again to Matt Callahan who once again led and energized the crowd to raise their hands to donate to this year’s Fund-A-Need.

Last, but certainly not least, we thank YOU, our steadfast and compassionate Epiphany League members, sponsors, volunteers and supporters who help us transform the lives of so many. Because of you, Epiphany Center is able to continue its 172-year-legacy of strengthening families, empowering women, and ensuring that their children will have hopeful futures. Your compassion makes a lifetime of difference to our families.

From all of us at Epiphany Center, thank you!
