Fund-A-Need 2024 is Funded and Our New Surveillance System is Underway!

Our annual Fund-A-Need campaign invites our wonderful Epiphany community to help us raise essential funds for a specific and important needs for the Center.

Your generous contributions to our past causes have allowed us to make many essential improvements to our life-saving services – from building a new play yard to providing dental and vision care, to purchasing a 12-passenger van, to upgrading and enhancing our building’s Wi-Fi system, to installing a 3-stop elevator and new double-pane windows.

This year, for 2024, we needed your help raising $125,000 for the installation of security cameras and doors to cover all of our outdoor and indoor vulnerable spaces across the Agency (over 40,000 sf).

Recently, Homeland Security came to the Center to prepare us for emergencies such as an active shooter response. They advised that we increase security measures to prevent access to the agency. Doing so will also help us protect the agency from the recent rise in criminal activity in the surrounding area. The current trend among burglars and vandals is to avoid properties with visible security cameras and opt for less difficult targets. Investing in a dependable and high-quality surveillance system will not only make our building a safer place for our families and staff but ensure they feel secure when on site.
